How desktop works with the web app

  • Your agents, conversations, and projects stay in sync.
  • Desktop adds local MCP serving, deeper file access, tray presence, global shortcuts, and OS integration.

Use EX1 as your local MCP hub

  1. Install and open Everything X1 Desktop.
  2. Keep the local MCP endpoint running on your machine.
  3. Point Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, or another MCP client at EX1.
  4. Let those clients work through the same EX1 workspace and tools.

Quick start

  1. Download the installer for your OS.
  2. Install and open Everything X1 Desktop.
  3. Sign in with your Everything X1 account.
  4. Start working. Web and desktop share the same workspaces.
